The coat of arms of the Kingdom of Spain. It is a shield with a red and white checkered background and a gold crown at the top. The shield is divided into three sections, each with a different color and design. In the center of the shield, there is a large red banner with a gold border. On either side of the banner, there are two mermaids, one on each side, holding swords. The mermaid on the left is wearing a green dress and the one on the right is holding a red rose. At the bottom of the crest, there has a blue banner with the words "Vires Sapientiae Virtus" written in gold letters. Above the mermaid, the crown is gold and has a cross on top. Below the crown, the word "Sapientiae" is written in blue letters. The overall design is ornate and regal.
